To treat dry, cracked feet, massage chest rub into your feet and cover with socks over night. Do this every night for 2 weeks (you'll notice a difference after the first day). This is something we used to do in ballet and let me tell you,
it works.
Applying chest rub to the bottom of feet at night also acts as a cough suppressant. I love this stuff!
Interesting! I might just have to try this...
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole! Definitely give it a shot, it works great.

I always put this on my kids feet at night and then put cotton socks on them. My doctor told me to do this and it really worked! He didn't tell me it was a good foot cream!! Thanks for telling me! I'll use it next time!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Danni! Let me know how it works for you.

I have heard that this helps heal a cold fast (putting on feet). I can tell you that it helps with psoriasis. It is one of the only things that relieves the flaky patch of skin I have on my elbow. Thanks for following and now I'm following you back!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I just love Vicks chest rub! I've used it under my nose, on my chest and on my feet. Lurve it! Thank you, sweet girl for the visit and comment at The Dedicated House. It means the world. If you haven't already linked up, my Make it Pretty Monday party is still going on. http://thededicatedhouse.blogspot.com/2012/09/make-it-pretty-monday-week-13.html Hope to see you at the bash! I so need to do this. My feet are feeling the effects of a summer in flip flops. Thanks for stopping by yesterday and leaving me a sweet comment on my fabric rosette tree. You are always so sweet and encouraging. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Nici
You're so welcome Nici and I mean every word. Flip flops kill my feet too. Definitely give it a shot:)

I've heard about this, I've heard it works even better for when you're sick than rubbing it on your chest. Not entirely sure about the science behind it, but I know when I don't feel good almost any port in a storm.
ReplyDeleteHi Katie! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm your latest follower! I'll have to give this a try... summer heals are yuck!
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome weekend,
Ilda
Thanks so much Ilda! Hope you had a great weekend:)

I need to try this! I have the driest feet! So gross! I grew up dancing and my feet have never recovered...
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! For as graceful as it looks, dance is so hard on feet. Enjoyed your blog today:)

Now this is one tip I'm definitely trying! If only I could get my husband to rub my feet for me, I'd be in heaven!!
