Ever had one of those projects that turned out exactly the way you wanted it to? This is mine. The Rustic Love Sign is my favorite Valentine's Day decoration this year. It's not your typical red/white/pink combo but that's exactly why I love it. And it goes great with my Rustic Button Heart that I showed you yesterday.
I found the fabric along with this awesome rustic frame at Hobby Lobby. The letters came from Michaels. As for the paint, well...that was a combination of a few colors: 4 parts Apple Barrel Pinwheel Blue, 2 parts Americana Slate Green and 1 part Craft Smart Butter Cream. All of them were from Michaels. Here's what I used:
Supplies
Picture frame
Wood letters
Mod Podge
Fabric
Acrylic paint
Sand paper
Glue gun
Directions
Paint the letters. When they dry, sand the high spots and other random places on each letter.
Cut fabric to fit the back of the picture frame. Coat the backing with Mod Podge and apply fabric. Put the fabric in the frame.
Line up the letters and glue them to the fabric using a glue gun.
When the glue dries, it's ready to hang!
Have you started decorating for Valentine's Day yet?
